Drawing in the Language Lesson is Fun!!! – Nicole de Boer

Apart from teaching vocabulary structures through gestures and translations, using pictures is a strong way to make the meaning clear. Instead of spending hours surfing the internet for that one picture that says it all, it’s easy to draw it, especially when you have no common source language. Or when a spontaneous question is asked.

You can use drawing for Story Listening, but at many other moments in the language class, which we will discuss during the workshop.

This will be a practical workshop, we start drawing straight away. How to draw clear and simple, how to build up a ‘picture library’, etc. Please keep pen/pencil & paper at hand (or mini-whiteboard & marker or tablet & stylus).

Drawing is fun!!

Afterwards a document that lists useful links of online tutorials and books will be available in the FB group Agen2020..

This presentation takes place in “Mandarin room” on Wednesday July 29th at 16:00 Paris time (CEST). To access the room, please click here to consult the visual map (restricted to registered conference attendees).
