How to Use Google Walking Tours to Make Pictures in their Heads: Teaching Novels and Geography with Scavenger Hunts and Problem-solving – Karen Rowan

We can’t do Reader’s Theater right now, but we can immerse our students in a visual journey of the locations in readers or places we have traveled.  We can set them loose and let them get lost and leave clues for how they can find their way home.  We can still create colorful, vivid pictures in their heads before we dive into reading.
