Specific Tricks to Expose your Students to Rich, Comprehensible Language – Dahiana Castro

Most of our CI readers and newspaper articles are written in the third person singular, leaving our students overly exposed to third person singular texts while under-exposing them to stories told from other perspectives.

In this session participants will learn five specific tips to expose your students to a variety of texts and to help them get out of the “yo/I/ je” + third person singular output phase.  We will learn about the importance of exposing our students to a variety of texts using different perspectives and different tenses from day one.  We can generate authentic conversations through PQA and through weekly passwords. Join me if you are looking for more variety and novelty into your Comprehensible Input teaching repertoire.

This presentation takes place in “Spanish 1 room” on Thursday July 30th at 18:00 Paris time (CEST). To access the room, please click here to consult the visual map (restricted to registered conference attendees).
