We all know that reading comprehensible texts in a low anxiety setting is a major component of language acquisition. But how do we prepare our students to read books independently? This presentation will focus on the read-aloud strategy and will help World Language teachers select a book and deliver it as a read-aloud, in a way that supports their students emerging literacy skills.
